Beeswax candles make great gifts and are easy to create.

Shopping list:
• Rectangular sheets of beeswax (found at craft stores or bee keeping supply stores)
• Candlewicks
• Wax appliqués

1. To begin, measure wick to fit on small side of piece of wax sheet plus 2 extra inches.
2. Press the wick into one of the shorter sides of the wax sheet. Leave some wick at the top for burning.
3. Starting on wick end, gently roll beeswax.
4. When you reach the opposite end of wax, gently smooth end into candle.
5. Embellish candle with appliqués if desired
6. Tie a few together with ribbon or raffia to give as a gift.

The beeswax candles only take a few minutes to make, they burn clean, for a long time, and they don’t drip or smoke.
